      The Christian Writers
Guild's WRITING for the SOUL conference at The Broadmoor is the breath of fresh air you've been hoping for. Nestled in the foothills of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado, The Broadmoor provides the perfect environment for personal development and serious study. Read highlights and comments from our 2007 conference.

Known as the “grande dame of the Rockies,” the Broadmoor Hotel is considered one of the most historic and luxurious resorts in the world. It has been a gathering place for presidents and potentates, for movie stars and celebrities of every stripe. Surrounded by stunning mountains and beside a sparkling lake, The Broadmoor offers you the most beautiful setting imaginable to pursue your craft.

For four days, you'll be challenged and encouraged through a variety of speakers and professional workshops designed to develop your writing craft as never before.  For 2008 we're offering seven morning continuing classes including one just for teens.  You'll also have the chance to attend one of six afternoon elective workshops, including our exclusive "Thick-skinned Manuscript Clinic." Plus, we'll have literary agents on site and available for appointments.

You'll be inspired by keynoters including best-selling authors Lee Strobel and Robin Jones Gunn, wordsmith  Richard Lederer, and film director Dallas Jenkins, as well as your host and emcee Jerry B. Jenkins. You'll also enjoy times of thrilling worship with Juilliard-trained pianist and Carnegie Hall performer Randall Atcheson. And you'll be able to schedule 15-minute appointments with editors from major Christian magazines and publishing houses.

We'll anchor the entire WRITING for the SOUL conference with times of praise, worship, and prayer. Our desire is that inspiration and motivation will embrace you throughout your time at The Broadmoor.

Best of all, you'll meet and develop lasting friendships with other Christian writers who share your calling. You'll trade ideas, share experiences, and support one another in prayer.

Every WRITING for the SOUL conferee will receive a three-ring binder with valuable information including a guide to every agent attending plus details on the publisher representatives and their editorial needs.  You'll also receive outlines for all seven continuing classes. You're certain to refer to this resource repeatedly both during and after the conference.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain fresh inspiration for your writing and a little fresh air for you.  To register now or learn about our easy payment plans, please call us toll-free at (866) 495-5177 or send an email for details. If you'd prefer, you can register online.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
