  Stephen and Janet Bly are co-mentors.  Steve, a historical western novelist, has also written contemporary fiction. An active member of the Western Writers of America, Steve has received a Christy Award for The Long Trail Home .  Janet Chester Bly is the author of 11 books — devotionals and womens issues — and co-authored 17 others with Stephen on family topics and fiction for children, youth, and adults. She has also edited all of Stephen's works.    
   


   
  Eva Marie Everson wrote the award-winning titles Reflections of God's Holy Land, The Potluck Club, Shadow of Dreams, and Sex, Lies and the Media. She has more than 20 titles published.
   
         
 

Lissa Halls Johnson is a freelance writer and fiction editor, as well as an author of novels for teens, tweens, and young adults. Lissa has edited more than 20 novels for such authors as Mary DeMuth, Harry Kraus, Claudia Mair Burney, and Sharon Carter Rogers. She has been a book producer at Focus on the Family where she was the creator, editor, and writer for the Brio girls series and for the KidWitness book series.

   
         
  Yvonne Lehman has written 47 historical and contemporary novels in the categories of mainstream, biblical, romance, young adult, mystery, and womens fiction.  Her novels have won numerous awards, and several have appeard on the CBA bestseller list.    
         
  DiAnn Mills is an award-winning author, her recent novels include Awaken My Heart and When The Nile Runs Red.  

Three of her books have won the distinction of Best Historical of the Year by Heartsong Presents. Five of her books have won placements through American Christian Fiction Writer's Book of the Year Awards, and she is the recipient of the Inspirational Reader's Choice award for 2005 and 2007. She was a Christy Awards finalist in 2008.

   
         
  Karen O'Connor is the author of 60 books and hundreds of magazine articles for children and adults, a speaker, and a writing instructor with 25 years of experience. Karen received the Mount Hermon Special Recognition Award for 2002 for her many years of writing and mentoring writing students.    
   

   
  Kim Peterson's writing has appeared in various anthologies including Chicken Soup for the Caregiver's Soul and Rocking Chair Reader: Family Gatherings. Her articles and book reviews have been published in local newspapers and in magazines including CBA Retailers+Resources, Encounter, The Secret Place, and Seek.    
         
  Gayle Roper is the award-winning author of more than 45 books. Her novel Autumn Dreams won the Romance Writers of America's RITA Award for Best Inspirational Romance. Both Caught Redhanded and Summer Shadows were named Book of the Year by the American Christian Fiction Writers, and Summer Shadows won the Inspirational Readers Choice Contest.    
         
  Christy Scannell was editorial director at Rainbow Publishers/Legacy Press.  Her novel series, "Secrets from Lulu's Café," with co-author Ginger Kolbaba, debuted in 2007 from Howard Books, a division of Simon & Schuster.  The first in the series was Deperate Pastors' Wives.  In 2008, A Matter of Wife and Death was added, and Katt's in the Cradle was released in 2009.    
         
  Cindy Thomson is the author of Brigid of Ireland, A Historical Novel, (Monarch Books, 2006). Clubhouse Magazine has published some of her historical short stories. Her interests include genealogy, history, and baseball.    
         
  Kathy Tyers specializes in science fiction for both the CBA and ABA markets. Kathy has published numerous novels, including her Firebird  trilogy, and the Star Wars novels; The Truce At Bakura and Balance Point. Her most recently published book is Grace Like a River, a biography of classical guitarist Christopher Parkening.
