Dr. Jim Dyet

The author of

more than 15 books, 30 Bible curriculum courses, and hundreds of articles, Jim recently retired after a long career as an editor specializing in Christian education.  During his decades as an editor and writer, Jim also pastored several churches.

 

 

 

Robert Elmer

 

Rob has over 25 years of experience as a news editor and reporter, freelance writer and advertising copywriter, assistant pastor, workshop leader and novelist. He's written over 40 popular novels, many for younger readers.


Chris Fabry

Robin Jones Gunn

Robin is the award-winning author of 63 books, with nearly 4 million copies sold.   She began writing by taking the Christian Writers Guild's "What's Your Story?" course from Guild founder Norm Rohrer.  

     

Dr. Dennis E. Hensley

Dr. Dennis Hensley has written six novels, more than 150 short stories, 31 nonfiction books, and more than 3,000 newspaper and magazine articles.  He's ghostwritten 18 books and written eight textbooks on writing.

 

Dr. Vicki Hesterman

Vicki is a writer, editor, teacher, and photographer who has worked in both Christian and secular journalism for more than 25 years.  She has also been a reporter, a book editor, an author, and a university journalism professor.

Dave Lambert

Dave is senior fiction editor for Howard Publishing, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.  He specializes in fiction and has edited many bestselling authors.  Many consider him a mentor.

     

Kathy Mackel

Kathy is a screenwriter and novelist.  She worked for Disney, Fox, and Showtime but invests her heart in Christian filmmaking.  Kathy is the resident playwright for the Living Word Players of Dunstable, Mass.

Rodney Morris

Rod has been in the Christian publishing industry nearly a quarter century, having served in editorial positions for a major evangelical house. He is currently a senior editor at Harvest House Publishers.

Dr. William Petersen

Bill was a newspaper editor, editorial director of one magazine, founder of another, and editor and publisher of Eternity Magazine .  He has also edited newsletters and been a book publisher, an acquisitions editor, and the author of 30 books and hundreds of articles.

     

Norm Rohrer

Norm founded the Guild in 1965 and has been teaching writers by mail for decades. Former Executive Director of the Evangelical Press Association, he has published hundreds of magazine articles and 28 books.

Les Stobbe

Our Editor-in-Chief began his career through a correspondence course and has been a journalist, book editor, magazine editor, author, book publisher, consultant, writing teacher, and agent

Larry Weeden

Larry has been a magazine editor, currently serves a major evangelical publisher as a book editor, is a widely published author, and speaks frequently at writing conferences and workshops.

     

Jim Zabloski

Jim is currently employed by Liberty University, where he is also pursuing his doctorate in Education..  He is an author and writer of contemporary dramatic musicals, and served 12 years for an international book publishing house as editorial director.
